New Sprouts or a New Techique.

After a few days or weeks of macrameing (is that a word?)  I found a new technique.
Kumihimo, a Japanese form of braid-making. Cords and ribbons are made by interlacing strands.[1] Kumihimo is Japanese for "gathered threads".

All of these bracelets are made  by using a disk like this, and usually 8 strands.
This is really easy to do, and very repetitive. very relaxing,  Some have said it was almost Zen.

All of these in the grouped picture are  available in choice of colors. $12.00

Kumihimo can also be done in a flat style  again in various colors,  $14.00

Bracelets can also be made completely beads, with various colors, that bring out a spiral pattern. Can be made in colors of your choice  $17.00

This adorable,  heart motif can of course come in choice of colors. depending on size is great for a little girl or her mom. $12.00

This one creates a border of contrasting color  just choose your favorites, $12.00

Most of the above bracelets , but I can also be customized.  It may take a little longer to process.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for custom items.

All of these  items are handmade so they are not perfect and the flaws and variations add to the charm and uniqueness. So even though the material and the technique are the same each piece of jewelry is unique.
